THE Solomon Islands National University (SINU) School of Education and Humanities (SoEH) has recorded the highest number of graduates with 675 alumni in this year’s graduation which held at the Maranatha Hall, East Honiara today.
Seconded is the School of Business and Management (SoBM) with 332 students, School of Natural Resources and Applied Sciences (SoNRAS) with 254, School of Technology and Maritime Studies (SoTMS) with 146 graduates and School of Nursing and Allied Health Sciences (SoNAHS) with 61 students.
In total, 1468 students from various schools within the University (SINU) has received their certificates today 28 Thursday April, 2016.
This has been the third graduation the school has held after its transition from the Solomon Islands College of Higher Education (SICHE) late in 2012 to SINU.
Solomon Islands Minister of Education and Human Resources Development (MEHRD) Hon Moffat Fugui is the chief guest at the graduation formality today.
A number of VIPs including foreign diplomats, SINU Council Members and representatives of various Government Ministries and Industries are also part of program.
The moment has seen many students receive their certificates in great excitement and joy after many years of sleepless nights.
The graduation program starts at around 9am till late in the afternoon.
